So the Easter madness and chocolate indulgence is over, and I am back into the swing of work. Lots of news over the last two week, but most exciting of course is the publication of the Food4me project white paper yesterday. Although I have to say, I was hoping that genotype-based personalized nutrition had a better outcome, nevertheless, we all know that more research is needed because when it comes to health, nutrition and food, it is always complicated. Most promising is that personalised nutrition results in better behaviour change and longer term better eating choices and that experts such as dietitians are the preferred providers of such services.
Also knowing that companies will need to adjust their business models to employ such nutrition experts is rather reassuring, as that is exactly what I am doing. For more details about my services, click here
