Vitamin C deficiency could become easier to tackle, thanks to new technology from Kiwi firm Feedback Research Ltd. This dinky little handheld device can detect vitamin C levels from a tiny prick in the finger. Fancy finding out? I think I’d rather have another Algarve orange thank you!, I hope that more resources are poured into consumer education and health promotion, as it is likely that if you are Vitamin C deficient, other deficiencies may be lurking and present too!
The US based microbiome wellness & lifestyle company Viome that uses transcriptomics and AI to provide personalized nutrition recommendations has now expanded into Canada. The product is already available in the US and UK. I have not yet been tested, but it would be very interesting!
